How the configurator works

The Cable Configurator Pro tool allows you to specify cable assemblies — including wire gauge, cable length, connector type, and finishing options — and submit a request for a quote (RFQ). Configurations may be saved to your “My Cables” account history for future reference or reorder requests.

Quotes are not binding orders

Quote accuracy and changes

We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing and product information on the site is accurate. However, errors may occur. If a quoted price is found to be incorrect after confirmation, we will notify you before proceeding. You will have the option to accept the corrected price or cancel without penalty.

Quote expiration

Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotes provided by Remy Wire Works are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Material costs, lead times, and availability may change after that period.

4. Orders and Custom-Built Products

Made-to-order nature of our products

The vast majority of cable assemblies sold by Remy Wire Works are built to your exact specifications. Because these products are custom-manufactured, they are not stocked items and cannot be resold as-is. Production begins only after order confirmation and, where applicable, receipt of payment.

Order confirmation

An order is confirmed when we send you written confirmation (typically by email) acknowledging your specifications, pricing, and expected lead time. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

Lead times

Lead times vary depending on order complexity, materials availability, and production queue. Estimated lead times provided at the time of quote are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. We will notify you of any significant changes to expected delivery timelines.

Order changes and cancellations

Because our products are built to order, changes or cancellations must be requested promptly. Once production has begun, we may not be able to accommodate changes, and cancellation fees may apply to cover materials and labor already incurred. 5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice prior to order confirmation. Confirmed order pricing is locked at the time of written confirmation.

Taxes

Applicable Wisconsin sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to Wisconsin addresses, in accordance with state law. Tax-exempt customers must provide a valid exemption certificate prior to order processing.

Payment terms

Payment terms will be specified at the time of order confirmation. Standard terms for new customers are payment in advance or at time of order. Net terms may be available for established commercial accounts at our discretion. We reserve the right to require full or partial prepayment on custom orders.

Online payments

When online payment processing is active, all payment transactions are handled by our payment processor(s) through WooCommerce. Remy Wire Works does not store credit card numbers or other sensitive payment data on our servers. By submitting a payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping carriers, methods, and rates will be presented at the time of order. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of loss and title for purchased products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. If your shipment arrives damaged, please retain all packaging and contact us within 3 business days of receipt so we can work with the carrier on a claim.

Local pickup

Local pickup may be available at our West Milwaukee location. If you wish to arrange pickup, please indicate this when submitting your order or quote request.

7. Returns, Defects, and Warranty

Custom-built products

Because our cable assemblies are manufactured to your specifications, we do not accept returns on custom-built products unless the item is defective or was built incorrectly relative to the confirmed specifications. If you receive a product that does not match your confirmed order, contact us within 10 business days of receipt and we will make it right at no charge.

Stock components and DIY parts

Unused stock items (connectors, terminals, heat shrink, loom, etc.) in original condition may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. Items must be uninstalled, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. Cable assemblies manufactured by Remy Wire Works are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of shipment under normal use conditions. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, modification, accident, or use outside the rated specifications of the product. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and a description of the issue.
